Code Endeavors Compiled AJAX Module
The Code Endeavors AJAX Template offers the skeleton structure for creating highly efficient AJAX templates.  It encourages the developer to encapsulate logic within client-side objects to minimize naming conflicts.  It also demonstrates how to use the new AJAX callback framework (ControlMethods) in the new ClientAPI.  Additionally, it offers a solution to manage localization of messages in your javascript along with allowing modules to communicate safely on the client-side.

Code Endeavors Compiled Silverlight Module
The Code Endeavors Silverlight Template allows the developer to quickly integrate silverlight into DotNetNuke.  The method used insulates the client-side logic from conflicts with other modules on the page, including multiple instances of the same module.   A live demo of this module can be found here.

OpenForce 07 - Developing Advanced Modules Video

My session was not recorded at OpenForce 07 in Las Vegas.  I feel the content of this session can be of great benefit to the community, so I recorded portions of it myself, as the concepts discussed are fundamental to successfully writing DotNetNuke modules with a rich client-side experience.

Note:  this is my first attempt at recording and the audio is far from ideal.

OpenForce 07 Resources - Developing Advanced Modules

Here are the files from my OpenForce 07 DMD302: Building Advanced Modules Using DotNetNuke WebControls session. I have included some additional notes I used in preparation as well, which should provide a little more context to each slide. A readme.txt file included gives instructions for installation.

Click here to see a live sample of the Tournament Tracker Module discussed in this session.
